We invite you to our home, farm and lifestyle. Our focus has always been to create a sustainable place based on permaculture and with a philosophy where simplicity and luxury coexist with beauty and nature.
Within our estate, we have amazing venues for events. From our terrace and medicinal garden to the orchard, equestrian centre, the dappled shade of a 700-year-old oak tree, or a mountainside platform, our estate offers a variety of secret and secluded venues.
Enjoy the freedom of the entire property. The 103-year-old farmhouse has been restored integrating nature throughout and with views stretching across the valley. La Donaira is the ideal size with only seven suites and rooms, all individually designed, and two yurts, in total accommodating 22 people. The farmhouse has different rooms such as lounges, kitchens and patios which can accommodate up to 80 people.
The farm is also an equestrian centre for purebred Lusitano horses bred according to the principles of natural horsemanship, where over 90 horses live in freedom on the land. We offer the unique experience of an open carriage, indoor arena, lounge, riding arena and stables.
The organic orchard, medicinal garden, vineyard or nature itself are some of the ideal locations for events.
In addition, our farm is home to semi-free-range chickens, cows, goats, sheep and bees, which are sometimes the ideal experience to complement your stay at La Donaira.
