We continue our series of intimate soirees where good music, fine wine and good company combine in an inspired setting, with the soulful vocals of up and coming singer-songwriter Kalyna Rakel, accompanied by George Chenery on double bass.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Kalyna has gone on to record four independent albums and played for thousands of people all around the world. Her songs come straight from the heart, sung with a voice that has been described as Amy Winehouse meets Janis Joplin.

Since she first stepped on stage at the age of 16, praise for her talents have come pouring in from wide and far. Reviewing her latest single, Keep Walking Music, Madrid, described how “Her velvet voice and soulful melodies are as pleasing as it gets, and her lyrics are both intimate and inspirational.” More info at
