We will accompany you on an experience of reconnecting with yourself and with nature.
You will have the opportunity to discover, experience and acquire the power and knowledge to be the protagonist and responsible for your health.
We offer a Health Reset Program based on ‘Evolutionary Medicine’. A medical discipline that aims to change behaviors and habits that improve health and enhance overall quality of life based on an understanding of how our minds and bodies have been fine-tuned to function optimally through millions of years of Darwinian adaptation.
Method
The fundamental pillars of intervention are:
Direct contact with nature
Healthy eating
Physical activity
Restorative sleep
Stress management
Management of toxic factors
Psycho-social support network
It is based on two pillars
A practical approach in which the activation of human physiological response and adaptation systems is facilitated.
A didactic complement to understand, internalise and help implement new habits in our daily lives to improve our health.
This discipline has proven to be effective in preventing, managing, and sometimes reversing the pathologies that lead to the highest overall morbidity and mortality, such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease and obesity. It is estimated that 80% of chronic non-communicable diseases could be prevented by leading a healthier lifestyle.
PROGRAM
Divided into two phases:
1st – All-inclusive five-day stay in the exceptional natural surroundings offered by the La Donaira estate. In the heart of nature, you will be accompanied and guided by our multidisciplinary team.
2nd – During the following three months, you will have a specific and individualised programme to carry out on your own and a monthly online follow-up session to consolidate the knowledge acquired.
Throughout the whole process, you will be accompanied and guided.
In the depths of nature, the original habitat of the human being, and through exposure to certain stimuli of moderate and controlled stress, you will generate favourable responses and adaptations by activating the expression of those genes that favour the correct functioning of the organism.
We will use stimuli as primary and elementary such as calorie restriction (the famous intermittent fasting), exposure to cold or heat, variation in oxygen or carbon dioxide pressure, or contact with plant phytochemicals.
