SALON SESSIONS: THE RAMPARTS, JUNE 9, 2018 (You’ve missed it)
The Ramparts are an all-male Dublin-based a capella choir. They’ve been singing together for almost 2 years, under the passionate and eccentric supervision of choral Director, Ruaidhrí Ó Dálaigh.
Ruaidhrí has one dream in mind: to melt the listener’s hearts and minds . . . and their ears by singing epic barbershop tunes with a sprinkling of pop and Irish trad. Ruaidhrí brings this dream alive with the support of his cherished choral singers whom he encountered over the years and has immersed in the world of close harmony singing.
In July 2017, The Ramparts took BBC one’s Pitch Battle by storm with cheeky winks, an Ed Sheeran cover and brace choreography. They were the only Irish act to compete in the ‘Pitch Perfect’ style TV show, making it to the Final Battle of their episode.

Tickets are €35 and include food, drinks and shuttle transport from La Posada (Calle Fuentes, 49), El Gastor. Tickets can be paid for at La Posada on the day, but owing to limited availability, should be booked in advance.
Starts 19:30 with tapas at La Posada. Transport to La Donaira: 20:30. Concert: 21:00.
