EXTRA PAUSE FOR GUESTS: INFORMAL PRE-PAUSE CONCERTS, AUGUST 10-14
Our pause festival (August 14-19) is a result of workshops, discussions, trying out ideas and a lot of long dinners held here with the musicians at La Donaira. We love it when the cortijo is filled with the sound of the piano or the cello or violins, or people are singing – and especially late at night when there’s a lot of impromptu exuberant and lighthearted musical brilliance.
They even take requests! Between August 10 and the pause festival opening celebrations on August 14, La Donaira will be HQ for the team of musicians responsible for putting the festival together. They’ll be playing, rehearsing, and workshopping ideas. And in the evenings there will be informal performances in the salon. If you love music don’t miss this opportunity to get an up-close sneak preview of pause and meet the team.
